We select our "Maremma Sheepdog"¯ following the official standard of the International Federation Cinofila (F.C.I.) and of (E.N.C.I.), from which we are recognized.
The standard, besides the behavior and the character, it meticulously describes all the morphological aspects. It shows the ideal type finalized to the tasks that it must develop. So the concept of "Functional Beauty" different from that of abstract beauty, conditioned by opinions, pleasures and personal preferences.
We think that a dog is really beautiful if he is correctly bred, according to the correct anatomy, the harmony of the relationships showed by the standard, so that to be able to develop his functions. In fact, each race has his own standard.
Observing these considerations, we pay attention to the

and elegance. Therefore the dogs, coming from our breeding, are sweet with children, excellent and reliable keepers, full of courage and never aggressive and incorruptible. They protect family nucleus, other animals, territory, goods and so on but they obtain also excellent results in exposition.
Our reproducers are rigorously controlled, so that to avoid the transmission of genetic illnesses: congenital deafness, hereditary oculopathies, congenital heart disease¯, displasia of the hip, etc. It is for our scrupulous work and love for them that we produce HEALTHY, BEAUTIFUL, BALANCED and NICE puppies.
